The Keila city bus service runs from Monday to Saturday, but timetables vary depending on the day of the week:
Comprehensive plan
Keila City Council Decree No 3 of 29.01.2013 "Right to free travel on Keila city buses"
- The regulation establishes the right to free travel on Keila city buses.
- In order to obtain the right to travel, the passenger must be in possession of a valid ticket for the use of the carpool, or have it registered at the ticket office, or have it validated in any other prescribed way. A non-registered right of way shall be treated in the same way as a ticketless right of way.
Passengers on inland lines in the city of Keila can use the following services 100% with discount, i.e. free for the passenger. To get a free right to drive, you must register your race at the start of the journey, when boarding the bus at the ticket machine. A non-registered right to travel is treated as a ticketless journey.
The €0 fare, or so-called free travel on city routes, is available to all passengers. When boarding the vehicle, passengers must register their right to travel, either with a personalised collective card or a student ticket. Alternatively, they can ask for a €0 ticket when boarding the bus. The bus driver will then issue the passenger with a €0 ticket at the cash desk.
The Centre recommends that all passengers should have a personalised travel card, as this will speed up the registration of passengers' right to travel and make a significant difference to connection times on public transport.
Ticket validation provides the Public Transport Centre with statistics on the use of stops, and correct statistics help to improve the public transport network. If you have any suggestions regarding bus routes or departure times, please write to the Deputy Mayor of the City of Keila. inge.angerjas@keila.ee and the Public Transport Centre's route planner karina.troskina@ytkpohja.ee.
NB! Boarding and alighting from buses is only possible at stops marked with the 541a (public transport stop) sign.
