Significant changes to Westbound bus services from April

Tighter timetable and new westbound routes

From 1 April 2025, major changes to westbound bus timetables and routes will come into force. The changes are designed to offer passengers a more comfortable, punctual and efficient public transport service.

The changes include adjusting departure times and intervals, launching new routes and adjusting the routes of existing routes. Particularly noteworthy is the tightening of the morning rush-hour schedule, which will reduce waiting times and improve the overall quality of the service.

Changes to cut-off times

The revised timetables are based on the principle that buses travelling in the Tallinn direction will depart from the stops at uniform intervals. This is particularly noticeable at the Tabasalu stop, which is the bus stop with the highest demand in the westbound direction and through which all westbound routes pass.

Buses will stop at the Tabasalu stop at times ending in 3 or 8 (e.g. 7:03, 7:08, 7:18, 7:23, etc.). This regularity makes it much easier to remember the timetable.

Please note that changes to timetables will take place on all westbound routes. The new timetables can be found at from or the summary plans attached to the news.
