We are pleased to announce that our partner Ridango AS presented to the representatives of the Centre an improved interface for ticketing devices. Bus drivers are an important part of ensuring a quality service and we are trying to provide them with user-friendly tools.<\/p>\n

What are the main innovations?<\/strong><\/p>\n

For example, the improved user interface includes a clearer map view, preset messages to send to dispatchers and many other features to simplify information exchange. The dispatcher's desktop and the improved reporting view are also new and important tools for our carriers. The Centre's representatives were given a test device to try out the new features and give their feedback.<\/p>\n

Next steps - how will the new thing be used?<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Collecting feedback from drivers and carriers:<\/strong>\u00a0 To collect the latest suggestions for improvements, the Centre will contact the user directly. Carriers and their best drivers will have the opportunity to test the test equipment. In this way, we can ensure that the daily users of the device can give their final assessment and make suggestions for improvements.<\/li>\n
  2. A pilot project on buses, the first major trial run:<\/strong>\u00a0We'll find the first brave testers among our best bus and coach drivers to test the new solution in their daily work.<\/li>\n
  3. Training and transition for all:<\/strong>\u00a0After the pilot and its analysis, we will start training and the new system will be gradually rolled out to all buses in Harjumaa, Rapla County, L\u00e4\u00e4nemaa and L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Virumaa.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nThe innovations will make life better for drivers and passengers alike: sharing information with dispatchers will be faster and safer, using the equipment will be easier to understand and everyone will benefit from a smoother travel experience.
